It may look like story from science fiction movie but, Lasers can pose a serious problems to your iPhone camera if you expose it directly to laser beams. This can induce irreversible damage to your phone’s lens and might cause ugly pink and black spots on your pictures.

So, what is the main reason that a laser will damage your camera. Really, it is just that the highly concentrated light emitted from laser and when it hits the camera lens, it can burn the tiny camera component inside and even ruin the ability of the camera to function properly. These burn marks of the camera’s components will be irreversible damage, and that damage thus affects the photos and videos’ quality.
The worst part about is that it can be a costly affair to replace or repair as Laser damaged camera is not covered under warranty.
